So this is it, my senior year of college so in a way to me it is the beginning of the end. In starting this blog for our senior thesis research I feel totally lost and confused. While I realize the usefulness of blogging and reading blogs I'm sporting the intelligence of an ancient dinosaur as I sit here trying to decide what to say. I did however locate a really interesting blog (well interesting in a "future educator" kind of way). http://thedaringenglishteacher.blogspot.com/ is a blog by a high school teacher talking about tips and tools that she uses in her classroom. Some of the things that she talks about are strategies that are helping her get through to her students and teaching them how to be successful in literary analysis (from a high school sophomore level: although some of this looks like it would help me right now as I am studying literary theory myself since I honestly don't even remember this from when I was in high school over 15 years ago. EEEK!!!). I think of blogging as a sort of electronic journal and hope that I will be able to use this tool to my advantage and allow it to help me build a good source for my Senior Thesis data.
